MORNING…..it is Monday, back to the normal routine of our fast paced life here. Last night was pretty good, I didn’t complete my list because I played and did some puzzles with Tommy. Time better spent in my opinion. Can always get to that list tonight or later this week. Plus we went to my SIL’s for most of the afternoon. Last night for supper I made Sandra’s Simple Chicken Stir-fry. YUMMY!! Josh was at work so I made this for hubby. He loves stir-fry, Josh hates it! Tommy headed to bed early last night since he didn’t take a nap. Once he was in bed I took my book and had a nice hot bath. I exercised and went to bed. Hubby and I were both sound asleep before 10:30. But we both woke up tired this morning. Go figure!
TODAY…….
Work of course…I have a couple of things going on today. I am going to the Weight Watchers Open House today at noon to learn about the program and decide if I will join. I think it is worth it. I am not sure. I have less than 20 pounds to lose, but I would rather take care of it before it is more than that. I think you can get complacent about your weight and get the attitude, what does 5 more pounds matter. Be fore you know it you are 50 pounds over weight. So I want to get back down to my normal weight before I have more than 20 to lose. Does that make sense? I have already lost 6 pounds in the last month. My weight gain all happened this year after my car accident and after being so sick with my asthma these last few months. My asthma is getting better and I am doing a little bit of exercise only crunches and legs lifts. I won’t be able to do much walking etc, until my breathing is more under control.
I have two site visits to make for work this afternoon and then it is home to make supper . We are having turkey soup and rolls for supper. Then I have to go to a meeting at church at 7:00 for my committee. I am hoping a Netflix movie will come in the mail today and we will watch that tonight hopefully. Plus I would like to get one or two things off my list done.
PROJECTS TO DO THIS WEEK:
Cook Potatoes – I bought two bags on sale and will make Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes or they will go bad on me.
That should do it for the week. Time to hit the shower and get to work.
Kelios – I am going to save up my money and purchase a food sealer from sam’s club in a month or so. I too think I would use it alot. We will see!!
love that Monday graphic! haha 🙂 Hope your day is great and you don’t feel like that, sounds like you have alot to do too. Glad you liked the stirfry. I think WW is a great thing to do, congrats on the 6 lb loss. Blessings! 😉
You’re right – it’s better to lose 20 now than 50 later. It’s so easy to gain weight and so hard to get rid of it. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who hasn’t had success with WW. Hope you have a great day and thank you for the mashed potatoe info!

Wow , you sound busy! Have you made the do ahead potatoes before? They sound good. Do eggs come out good out of the freezer? Have a great day. -Jenn
I agree! Playing with Tommy is much more important than other things. They are only little once!
Good luck with WW……both my DH and I have “thought” about joining! That’s as far as we’ve gotten. I need to make out a menu……I did weekly ones for awhile, but now that’s gone by the wayside. I love your Monday graphic. I can relate. Have a great week!
I think it’s just as hard to lose 20 pounds as it is to lose 80. WW is a good program. I have a couple of ladies in my group who started at 20 and it took them a while because their bodies grew accustomed to being at that weight.
Whatever you do, your body will thank you!
YAY on getting a FoodSaver! I love mine, too!
You’ll love it! Check out the Tips at foodsaver.com, it’ll give you a lot of ideas.
Oh, and I did Weight Watchers to lose 20 pounds. I love WW! I lost 15 pounds and still have 5 to go, but I haven’t been keeping track of my points lately. I’ve learned portion control and have eased up on snacking out of boredom, which I think has helped me to maintain my weight rather than gain it all back. Good luck!
