When Madeline Was Young – Jane Hamilton – (4/5)

Interesting story…A man is married and his wife is injured in a biking accident.  She has a serious head injury leaving her cognitively impaired.   He ends up eventually remarrying, but his second wife and him continue to care for his first wife as part of their family.  Interesting how the dynamics of the family changes and how the children understand the situation.
