Proud Momma Momemt….

Well today my oldest, Josh has a meeting at the college.  He has been working there as a student worker as part of his financial aide in the IT department.  Then when his hours ran out and they hired him as a temporary worker.   Well it looks like he will be offered permanent employment.   He is young and I don’t know if he realizes what a great opportunity this is for him.  He will get a nearly $5.00 an hour raise and have benefits as a State of MN employee, insurance and retirement, etc.

I  can’t tell you how grateful I am his life is turning out so well for him!!  When I was 17, alone and giving birth to him, I could not have imagine a better life for him.   I am so incredibly proud of him.  God has certainly bless him and I.

I hope he realizes that being a full-time State of MN employee at the age of 19 is a huge deal!!  I know it may be hard for him to work full-time and continue in college, but since his job is at the college it is a bit easier.  He is growing up so fast!!!

So say a pray for my boy as he contemplates his first real job of his life.
