Seems like it has been FOREVER since I posted anything but our weekly menu.   Life seems to be always moving so fast.  During the summer I try to be outside as much as possible, which means I have been getting a lot of reading done!   Looking for some good books to read, check out my recommendations on my book blog, Reading in White Bear Lake.

Our summer is full of many everyday moments that we wish to celebrate.   Life is good!

Paul and I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary on May 27th
my best friend…..my love, my heart, my one and only.

Over Memorial Day weekend, we decided it was time to update Tommy’s bedroom.  He is in Middle School and it is WAY overdue.  The thought of painting over the pirate murals that I spent so much time painting really was sad.   How could our baby be so grown up!! 

First there was the nursery….a wonderful gift painted by our neighbor, Jessie.

Then came the pirate bedroom in 2008.  Now it was time to say goodbye once again!!

We said good bye to his pirate bedroom…..And hello to a bedroom fit for a teenager, who lives and breathes SOCCER!

I think this is the last mural I will be painting, until I have grandkids.    I do really enjoy painting them….a lot of work, but fun!
